I oppose them because they are all designed to further the fortunes of their backers at the expense of the fortunes of the electorate. If along the way, they can cause further suffering to the poor, disabled and weakest in society, they consider that to be a bonus.
As Ny Bevan said: "they are lower than vermin"
Right so every single policy is 'designed to further the fortunes of their backers at the expense of the fortunes of the electorate' - I'd love to see some actual evidence of this. You know all of them....

Nay Bevan? Never heard of her.
Just look him up on Wikipedia, it's where you get everything from. If there's any polls on there you will tell us won't you?

Cartel springs to mind.
Average £30 a week for heating etc, doesn't it just tick you off
At this rate it won't be long before those on 40% tax will be in fuel poverty.
'when my life is over, the thing which will have given me greatest pride is that I was first to plunge into the sea, swimming freely underwater without any connection to the terrestrial world'
Not by doing anything practical to solve the problem but simply changing the definition of fuel poverty.
Just how dumb are the elctorate?

Dumb enough to think the £50 or so cut in bills is really a cut?
British Gas put bills up recently by an average of £123. They are going to cut them by £53 so British Gas customers are still going to be £70 a year worse off in 2014 than they were this year.
This is Cameron's "solution" to ever rising fuel bills. A one off rebate that doesn't actually lower bills.

There's also talk on the Westminster scuttlebuck that Gidiot is trying to get the energy companies to state that "the reduction is a result of government listening to peoples' concerns and working together with the industry to reduce domestic bills"

It's quite unbelievable really. The energy companies have contributed nothing to the reduction. The costs have been shifted from energy bills to income tax.
According to Robert Peston at the BBC the net result is an increase in bills of between four and five percent for all customers bar EDF who will stick with their increase of 3.9%.

I also wonder how this "reduction" will feed through to those on pre-payment meters, they are usually the ones mostin need of any help. It has all the makings of another Cameron/Gidiot balls-up
