COME ON COUGARS!!!.
I have defended the coach and players on here on many occasions, in my opinion they needed time to bed in to a new structure and tactics and form a team.
That time has long past (Dewsbury away), we should now be performing.
I will continue to support the players, and shout as loud as anyone on match days and support them in the bar with words of encouragement after the match. However, I also have the right (and duty) to criticise when things are obviously not right.
I'll be cheering as loud as anyone if we win at Whitehaven, but having been to Cumbria many times I think we know how hard it can be up there.
With the reorganisation of super league, this is one of the most critical seasons we have had since the days of Cougarmania. That we have performed so poorly is a great disappointment.
I can still recall the shirt presentation night before the start of the season where Gary said he expected a "top four" finish. I can excuse his inexperienced enthusiasm and i can accept that blowouts happen to every team, but not in the way they are happening to us this season.
It appeared that the "psychologist" had done the trick, maybe we need to put some more glue on that sticking plaster.
