@666 I'm sorry you feel this way but come on, it seems we are trying find to problems now when really we should 110% behind the lads it was a good win on Sunday and I hope we can perform/improve like that against Swinton and the big one against Dewsbury and continue to give 110% for the remainder of the season. So lets forget about it and move on, I'm sure Danny wont use language like that all the time, its just on the pitch things get heated end of!
Different people are more or less offended by different things and you can't criticise someone if they feel it isn't the right environment for them or their kids or grandkids and trying to bang the drum of blind support is the wrong way to go. As I've said already, players swear in the moment and it's difficult to really do anything about that but choices of where abouts to stand to protect younger ears could be made perhaps. I've been going to Cougar Park for over 20 years and the only time I've heard anyone really swear was when the physio told me my knee was f***ed when I was 17.
This post does seem to have provoked many different opinions. I accept Kenco that we need to focus our attention on the field and support the lads. The've had a difficult season and we should not be too critical of them & get behind them as I aways do.
It was not my original complaint to critisise players for swearing, that was instigated by another reply.
Being involved in sport as player or coach can bring it's frustration, as I know only too well.
My original point was the mindless use of the 'F' word in family area's regardless of the fact there were Women & Children in earshot. Remember the club has extended the 'Family Day Offer' to the Dewsbury game !

As background information, I've been supporting Keighley and the Cougars since 1962 when the 'F' word was never heard on the field. So why is it accepted now? OK, I might be taking an extreme stance, but why should 'young ears' ever be exposed to obsceneties?
If 'Guess Who' (I hope that I haven't misunderstood his comment) thinks that it is acceptable to shout obsceneties 'on the street' then I really do feel that he should be removed as a moderator of this forum.
Talk about a 'Family Game'! What type of 'Family' do you want to support the Cougars? Certainly not mine that have 'TRUE Family Values'.
In words that you all will understand, whatever your age, we will take your example and 'F OFf' to a better family environment.
Thanks for nothing after 51 years of loyal home and away support!

Wow you really do jump to conclusions dont you.
I said you should deal with it as you would if you heard it anywhere else. How in Gods name does that mean i said its ok?
What do you think he is going to hear when he goes to school?
Aah yes, the darling angels of Keighley... the ones that in their early teens are bringing the next generation of darling angels into the world haha. Those same kids that would never hear or dream of saying a swear!! 'Foul language' has origins in history and perhaps isn't as foul as people are making out. It is in the dictionary and is part of language, culture and life... it isn't the big deal people make it. Intelligent, eloquent people swear, it's life. Racism is not acceptable and is ridiculous but swearing is language... if Shakespeare was about nowadays he'd be swearing with the best of them.
