Had my suspicions that something wasn't right, but did NOT expect that

Next season beware, that just because you got killed this season it does not mean you are dead !!!!!!!!!
I'm pleased I started the books after watching the first two series (bought 1-5 from a charity shop for £6), I'm currently half-way through book two. I've recorded the first two series and half of this one to Blu-Ray, so often re-watch an episode that I've just read about. I'm still amazed that the producers have managed to include so much detail in the filming of what are long and involved books.
After the last episode I'm wondering what will happen in the finale

It happens in this book but the book is split into two parts and i am not sure where the split takes place. Also to make filming easier they have moved some of the story lines around for continuity . There are a lot more " kings" to die but i think that might be for the next series.
I have to say that i wish i could just watch all the next series back to back, the waiting around and watching week to week is very frustrating

The major worry now is the series seems to be catching up to the books and George RR Martin is hardly the most prolific author. It's something of a balancing act trying to spin the books out and still retain viewer interest, although there are some contingencies to produce one-off specials or mini-series, concentrating on individual characters/houses. There's also the possibility of prequels too.

I started reading the books a couple of years ago after Season 1 finished but stopped part-way through Book 2. Started Book 2 again last month and just finished Storm of Swords, Part 2 in the last few days. If the next series is anything like the book, it should be the best one so far! Should be interesting to see how they deal with certain events. Some of the things that happen in the TV series don't happen in the books and quite a few things are slightly changed, probably for logistic purposes.
Reading on as I just want to find out what happens now!
