Consider that Keighley's largest ever attendance was in the early 1950's and was around 14500.
Extrapolate as to why it has never progressed from that and is unlikely to in the future.

Hasn't football declined in that time period also?
1948/9 season = 41.2 Million
2011/2 season = 16.5 Million
Too many other affordable distractions plus the rise of personal transport.
Anyway, back on thread - well done Keith Dixon, I can still remember him doing the "high step" down the wing to beat an incoming ankle tap and scoring a wonderful try (can't remember against who) then the theme of "cotton eyed Joe" ringing out around Cougar Park.
