Well done Ben. I would have liked to have seen him in the first team sooner this year.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

If I was honest having seen Ben play for a few years I thought he was one of a few who may be good enough to get a run out in the first team. I would not have liked to see him any sooner as he IMO is ready now.
He has been consistently kicking for and achieving 40/20s in each game I have seen recently. He has never been afraid to take on the line. He is also not a selfish player. His discipline is good also. In situations when others are maybe giving cheap penalties or not playing to the whistle Ben has been focused.
Having seen the concentration and focus I think Ben will need a little whilst to earn the Coach and team mates attention and keep his shirt. In my opinion with continued attitude, desire and controlled aggression Steady has further to go.
Are we looking at a future home grown Cougars Captain in a couple of years time?

As a Leyther I must admit , he did have a decent game , but all in all I was very disappointed with your team performance , we had a few positional experiments yesterday , at one point I was thinking of coming on myself to keep the score down .

The last bit pretty much sums it up for me. Our performances have to improve, fast. Let's get to the root cause, be it coaching, tactics, players etc, deal with it and move on. It's Ok to keep saying we're better that the league table suggests, but there are enough games in the bank now to say the league table doesn't lie. We're only as good as our last game and that wasn't that impressive!

Charlie isn't belittling your Team , as you like Leigh , had a few positional changes , playing Danny Jones at full back , again though this is down to the Coach ,its not panic time yet for you , as a couple wins will lift you up the table , keep the faith as they say , I always enjoy my trips to Cougar Park .

Never took it as though you were Charlie, but thanks. You're right, no need to panic, but our performances haven't been great all season and I'm not seeing any improvement. Hopefully you'll be visiting Cougar Park next year.........

Keighley didn't deserve the half time scoreline, there was only one side making mistakes..Leigh (us). 2nd half, we were awesome, even Fev/Fax would have stuggled. But last 20 min, Keighley weren't that interested in tackling, but 'ball in hand' they were up for it. Impressed with Danny Jones & Gavin Duffy...but your pack was well beaten. Easily our best HOME performance of the season, just one of those days for you guys (like we had at Halifax/home to Sheffield). Good luck for the rest of the season.
