But how much longer can Mr Fawcett attempt to run a professional rugby club as a one man band - and even then in his spare time? Surely the time has come for Mr Fawcett to hold his hands up and make a public appeal for new directors to join him.
Let me say from the start, I appreciate how people feel when we lose, however, when we get defeated why do people resort to a blame culture. These type of comments very much align to people with agendas who are anti-Gary, but please correct me if I'm wrong. When we win these comments miraculously don't get posted.
My take on your post is quite simple and one I have thought about myself;
I do not agree with the direction Gary and Co are taking this club, however, what can we do? I don't have the cash to move Gary. If I did I would, but the lottery numbers don't fall favourably!
Would a new Director change things or would Gary have the final say?
The club is going through a poor run of form. We have a team put together on a reduced budget from last season. We have gone from a full time coach to a part time one. Personally, I can't see any board changes soon, but honestly I do think we need a change in the coaching stakes. Marchy has done his best and respect to him. He's had less resources that JD and has done his best. I fear we are in a bit of free fall and need some new energy and ideas.
I've also considered the players. Some have changed from JD's era, but some haven't and have been shadows of their former selves. Why? Are they not playing for Marchy or is he not getting the best from them. Casing point, Jode Sheriffe?
I don't have the answers. I like everyone else on here passes personal opinion.
I'm ready to get shot down!
