I just don't like the realms of negative posts from people who don't go anymore.
They are entitled to their opinion as am I and I think it is damaging the Club.
The name of the thread is Time to Back the team.
I don't believe I insult you, but this year Stealth I rarely agree with you.
For years you have been a critical friend of the Club, but this season when you don't go, you have
nothing but negativity to say.
Now you have had a go at me for being insulting, you have a go yourself.
I think you will obviously recall I made one post about Baroness Thatchers family having the right
to bury their Grandmother in peace. The post was on for a couple of days and went viral and I took
it off. How is that an unhealthy obsession ?
The last comment does not even merit a reply.
Are you questioning my relatives?
Perhaps you would like to expand further.
Firstly i'd like to say I went beyond what was acceptable with what I posted last night. However, I do believe you are aiming insults in my direction when using language and memes involving words such as "Keyboard Warrior". Also you have had a tendency to use phrases such as "END OF" in posts which would insinuate that you'd like suppress other users' right to reply. That said likening you to a fascist dictator who was responsible for many atrocities and breaches of human rights was, despite a lack of sleep and being on prescription drugs, a very poor lack of judgement on my part. I apologise.
Whenever I post I always like to give a balanced, fair and constructive opinion based on what I see. If it is good, I will say so, if it isn't, likewise. In all truth there really hasn't been anything positive of note coming out of the club all season hence why it appears i'm coming across as negative.
Further i'd like to add that on an another thread I had a dig at Harry-Al-Hill a few days ago for being patronising. Again I believe this may have been poor judgment on my part. Knowing Al as I do, on occasions whilst communicating he can appear to come across as patronising and condescending although it is my firm belief that this is not intentional. On initial viewing of the thread involved, again whilst on some steroids, it appeared that 2 or 3 members of the Walk for Estelle team were ganging up on other users in what could have been construed as bullying. If I was mistaken then I apologise.

Would you say then that you come down to the club?
To answer your question fairly and honestly, I genuinely don't know.
The truth is the feeder club system being brought in was not the only reason I stopped going, it was the straw that broke the Camel's back so to speak. For about a year or so going to games got very monotonous, the same people were talking about the same old things and it was getting tedious, almost like being at a Working Mens Club with a great big field round the back of it. Some of the friendships I had with those I went to games with had become strained.
Initially when the feeder club system came in I made the conscious decision not to got to any away games against a club adopting it for reasons i'm not going to go in to for the 100th time. When the Keighley board decided, after the season had already started, to go with Cas my hand was forced. I'd have been a rank hypocrite to not go to away games adopting the same system but turn up and pay in at Cougar Park. So I took the time to write to the RFL and the Club's board of directors outlining why I couldn't bring myself to go to games. I got a very considered response from the RFL. However for whatever reason, I never received a reply from the club.
The amount of hostility I have received for walking away has been ridiculous. I knew from the outset that there would be those who remain loyal to the club, take Harry-Al Hill for example. He has much as anyone has a vested interest in the club, I can only applaud the fantastic support that the club has given towards the Walk For Estelle campaign, a truly worthy cause. I'd expect him to remain loyal, I'd guess 3/4 or so of the amount of money raised could be attributed to the club in some way, shape or form. I genuinely respect that. The amount of hostility I have received from some people including some on here for walking away has been ridiculous. Why can't they respect my decision? It's as if i've said something bad about their mothers. I've been to one game this season, Fax away. I couldn't bring myself to go on the terraces and stand with the rest of the Keighley fans for not wanting to hear the abuse i'd get from admittedly a few narrow minded people. Instead, I sat in the stand, by myself. If Darryl Powell does knock the agreement on the head, do I really want to go through that game after game?
