Hope the clubs play the tie on Sunday the 19th. Playing on the Saturday when Broncos are at home against Wigan would be bad for the Skolars and the supporters. Double header at the Stoop would solve the problem.

The Skolars website now has the game listed in its "Fixtures" section as Sunday 19 May @ 1pm (!?), after having briefly listing it as 2pm at the end of last week. There is no announcement, as yet, on its "News" section, where I would have expected this information to appear. That, combined with the fact that the game is listed as 3pm on both the Whitehaven and RFL websites, seems to me to suggest there is still some doubt about this. With less than two weeks to go now, this really needs to be confirmed soon.

In an e-mail from Howard Kramer to season ticket holders he said it was very likely to be 1pm on the Sunday.

Good second half performance yesterday to get the league season up and running. Enjoyed the Gravesend Shrimper (despite it coming from south of the border), but the Beach Blonde was a bit tart for my liking.
