I thought the Cougars gave them the game to be honest , far too many errors , missed goals, soft trys from Sheffield ....... Sort of dejavu really. Some pretty fair individual performances but nothing as a team. We are still lounging around the relegation zone , relegation would spell disaster . People were saying a few weeks ago 'give Marchy a chance ' 'it's early days ' , well , guess what , there has been enough time and he has had enough chance.

One place above drop zone, but at same time, just 2 points outside the playoffs. Not alot between teams in positions 6th to 14th. Would I change the coach with a league table like that, no chance.
To get the knives out after 1st defeat in 4 games is abit harsh and unfair.
Also remember, we have 2 games in hand.

Couldn't have put it better, seems people want to feed off doom and gloom or simply create it
People should remember that Sheffield recently beat Featherstone Rovers by almost the same score 26-18. If we had played to our ability The Eagles were beatable yesterday.
I thought we played well (in parts) today. Shame that we had a slow start - we had enough early possession on their line to score and couldn't whereas they put in two converted tries.
The gusting wind played a part with us missing our early conversions.
I thought the game could have gone either way and with a bit more composure we could have snatched it at the death. Marchy does not look fully fit but he certainly worked his socks off. I didn't see the challenge on him at the end, but it was put on report.
They are a top four side and we gave them a game which on another day we might have won.
Its tight at the bottom of the Division now with only six points between sixth and fourteenth place then a 10 point gap to the top 5.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.
Thought you guys played well, if your kicking game had been on form you would have got the win, having seen most of the teams down at the bottom now, I would be amazed if you guys ended up in the bottom 2
I had acually forgotten about the two games in hand !
I wasn't peddling doom and gloom my post was simply there to get the reaction it didand get you all 'fired up ' as there was no discussion abound. I personally thought there were a few flashes of genius in the game , some cracking set moves but still not enough team work and silly schoolboy mistakes. At times they were really organised yet for quite a lot of the game an unorganises rabble who couldn't get a line going and no chance of passing to the wing. I think if more emphasis was given to team work things will improve vastly. Sheffield were conatantly shouting at ine another and directing each other around the field ..... A very tight knit squad and one aspect KEIGHLEY could learn from i.m.o.
Heres hoping for a win. Against Donny next Sunday.

I wasn't at the game but as I was watching Micky's highlights vid it occurred to me that our players seemed surprised at times to receive an off-load from a player in a tackle, as if it was almost the last thing they expected. Yet we saw last week that players in the top teams are always looking to off-load whenever they can and that their team-mates are always there in support looking to receive it. There's no answer to this when it's done well and I think we should try to do this if we can. Not saying it's easy and we do seem to be doing it more under Marchy than JD but, just from what I saw on the vid, we're not quite there yet.

Burleycougar DOOM and GLOOM..... maybe you need to see in your pass posts that you do put Keighley down a lot, esp Marchy, and also others too. You are very quick to judge IMO. It becomes boring and then people will get fed up of your posts and not take that much interest of what you put or you just rile them. You do to me, and also I dont speak for others! everybody has their own opinion.
