Was an incredible reaction he got. Although that particular crowd was hot, I think he would have gotten a similar reaction most other times.

Ziggler is one of the best workers in WWE at the moment.

Also when he won it I loved his reaction. There seemed genuine emotion in his celebration.

Ziggler is becoming on my favourites (always a fan of AJ...). Easily one of the quickest & technical wrestlers around

should just be the few ppv's like there used to be; royal rumble, wrestlemania, summerslam and survivor series.

at least then, there would be some build up to the fueds and could look forward to some decent matches with unpredictable outcomes.

now, with a ppv every month, you can predict what will happen just by having one eye on the following month's event.

the main belts being on the line every show does the credibility no good either. its either that or some awkwardly thrown together tag team match

but, like everything else in the world nowadays, the ppv situation is fuelled by corporate greed at the expense of the product, therefore alienating the fans.

Typical WWE creative Ziggler wins to a MASSIVE pop and its clear the crowd want a face turn but WWE refuse to alter their plans.
Ryback attacks Cena once again to a HUGE pop and its clear the crowd don't want a heel turn but WWE refuse to alter their plans.

It used to be the case that the writers took their cues from the crowd but now they pay the crowd no notice with a 'We know better idiots' mentality. You only have to look at Zack Ryder to see that point.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.

If WWE had had this "Your spot is where WE put you" mentality back in 1996, there'd be no Stone Cold Steve Austin. There'd be no Rock. Both those guys were allowed to go and get over with the fans and became mega stars.

Actually, I'd go one further. There'd be no WWE. They'd have been the ones to go out of business, probably followed by WCW and that would have been that. Wrestling as a spectacle would have died in the US and been reduced down to just the small indy shows.

Though, maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad thing, as it might have seen a return to the territory system and wrestlers actually learning their trade before being shoved infront of a camera with the same bland script as the last 6 guys.

Anyone going to any of the WWE European tour shows? Just grabbed some tickets for the Shefffield Smackdown! House Show. Never been to a house show before so looking forward to it. Gutted I won't be able to get down to London to see Taker one last time though.
