If the employee actually works from 09:00 to 17:30+ (no extra pay for overtime) five days a week and 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays with every third Saturday off . Breaks during the day are 15 mins in the morning , an hour for lunch which is usually nearer 40 mins , and 15 mins in the afternoon which is usually worked though as is the morning break . ...Are they actually working for below national minimum wage ?

Well taking out the 1 hr 30 minutes breaks your friend is working 7 hours per day Monday to Friday and 6 hours Saturday = 41 hours.
What does his working contract stipulate?
"If the American people knew tonight, exactly how the monetary and banking system worked, there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning."

I had a look at it the other day and it was 08:30 start time despite actual working hours being from 09:00 . Mate ain't very literate so asked me to have a look at the contract . I obviously wasn't the best person to ask for advice . I was only asked to read the contract . It just didn't seem right or fair to me .What I read is the reason for my original question .
