A South African's view:

Margaret Thatcher's epitaph should be a fitting: "Good riddance!" She helped prolong our suffering under apartheid.

That she did.

Can not see how that has anything to do with making comments. Not sure if Peter Sutcliffe has children but do we not say nasty things about him when he passes on and the likes of Bin Ladden and less high profile nasty pieces of work were also parents and just because someone dies it does not mean they have to automatically earn respect and even if her children take offence they are probably in a far better state than people whose parents died at Hillsborough, during the miners strike or in the Falklands.

One thing's certain, there'll never be another child of a grocer who grows up to lead this country.
Her policies ensured Tesco would put all the grocers out of business

Never really understood that quote, so what springs to mind, or do we respect people just for giving birth?
We still have not fully seen the final repercussions for her reign and legacy and my personal venom for her springs not from being a Miners son, nor a shop floor labourer, not even for the position she and her government left the schools in or the lack of support shown for Falkland vets, it was and is for the specific wholesale pillage of this countries flawed but operational mental health system. Some of the most prime building land in Surrey was ripped from places such as Virginia Water, Epsom, Botleys, and Brookwood, where care and understanding of a massively wide variety of illness was beginning to be treatable with compassion and care, the days of total medicinal blackouts were behind us, and these thousands of people had a place to be safe and to be cared for, until she decided they would be better off on the streets and all of that land made available at pure pennies in the pound for the vultures who supported her to speculate on and build their fortunes with, scum each and every one of them.
Oh and back to her sweet kiddies, in common with the feelings today of the majority, she may well have been a mother, but the best part of them slid down her legs.
Sarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them.

Struggling with reading - Blair came after not before!!
On Blair how about going into Iraq on the back of non-existent WMD - compare and contrast with the Falklands?
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
