And sometimes they killed children, as they did in Warrington and Northern Ireland. However, you go on trying to justify your position in your own sick mind.
RIP Thatcher, without whom we would be stuck in a recurring 1970s world, God help us.

Not that I believe in heaven and hell, but just this once I am supposing there is and I doubt she will be floating on a cloud, more stoking the fires of hell where evil b@stards end up. I was disappointed she died 'peacefully', was hoping she would suffer for a few years first.
Good riddance to $hite

Love her or hate her she was a formidable woman and PM and I doubt anyone else could have done a better job in those times, certainly none of the muppets we've had since. The country was in a p*ss-poor state domestically and globally and declining fast, and whether you agree with them or not she made a lot of hard decisions that needed making. I understand why great swathes of the population despise her (leaving aside it being the trendy thing to do) but she also had many moments as a great PM.
We can't complain too hard; we voted her in three times, twice by sizeable majorities.
Wonder if my letter from her is worth something now?
She was never voted in by a majority of eligible voters. The tory rats did get a large commons majority to be sure but as for 51% or more of the electorate voting for her, never happened.
