Times have changed. Fans don't want to watch British fighters take easy defenses time after time, and never leave their home town, and fighters don't want to be involved in fights against tomato cans over and over. Any fighter with any ambition wants to fight the best fighters, and fight for titles and Hearn has done that. Yes the likes of Rees and Barker have lost but their stock has risen and they've got a decent pay day out of it.
Hopefully Groves will be on the Froch-Kessler undercard. A fight with Abraham would be good.
As for Warren well he still has Clev, Gavin and Saunders but unless he can get them bigger fights I can't see them sticking around for long. Especially with Golden boy looking to promote in the UK as well as Hearn's rise.

Still can't see that happening. And if it did I reckon it would be a nightmare for Cleverly. Not as physical, but the nature of the beating he'll get will be similar to what BHop gave Pavlik. Cleverly hasn't progressed at all in the last few years - he's just wasting his talent with Warren and keeping his dad as a trainer. He'd do well to bugger off to America, they like fighters like Clev and Roach would probably have a bit more time for him soon

Interesting news that headguards will be removed for the senior men at this year's World Championships, apparently to reduce the risk of head injuries.
More importantly, the amateur game is moving on to the same scoring system as the pros. No more button pressing and computer scoring.

About time. Although it wouldn't surprise me if it's been the Americans who've been pushing for this given their poor display in London. We might now start to see the emergence of fighters who can actually punch properly again.

It was a cracker. One of the fights of the year, I scored it a draw but I've no problem with Bradley getting the nod, he showed real heart, they both did.
