I see she is requesting a dialogue about it.
She must know that, as ownership of the "Malvinas" is part of the Argentinian constitution, such a dialogue cannot be a negotiation over ownership.
So, what it is she doing?

Did anyone hear Alicia Castroon on radio 4 last night? When asked if she wanted to live on the islands, she replied no but some do. When asked why they do she couldn't answer except go into a rehearsed spiel about oil and fish. They’re not bothered about the people or the islands themselves, just the resources. Shouldn't the inhabitants come first in any negotiations? When do the native argentinian people get their land back?
