I could have easily plumped for there more commercial albums but to me stuff like The Tain and Hazards Of Love are a bit out there and a kind of concept album, and that sort of thing, when a band thinks outside the box appeals to me massively.
They are my favourite band at present. Though they are 'hibernating' at present what with their lead singer concentrating on his childrens books, The Wildwood Chronicles. There is a kind of spin off bluegrass ensemble featuring the other members of the band entitled Black Pirarieif that is anyones sort of thing.
