hey m8, well in....very organized team...not a bit dirty...apart for the score line we enjoyed it!!!!!
was our 1st run out after just one training session!! (you may of noticed)
plus missing our whole pack and wingers!! the old 2nd rower is our asstant coach!!! he did ok too.lol
not taking anything away from your win tho like i said very organized....you had some great talk in both attack and D...well played!!!! your 9, 1, and 13 are great players!!!
Its going to a month till we have our full side...fully expect to lose every game till then!!!!
Cheers pal, your right it was a good clean game. we were happy with what we did in attack considering we have been limited with skill sessions in pre season due to us not being able to get a decent sized flood lit pitch to train on, have basically done 3 sessions on a pitch of soccerdome size propotions, other than size we have been limited to conditioning and gym work. Our 13 & 1 are only recently returning after both being injured for the best part of 12 months, we missed them last summer. Was good to have 19 lads to select from yesterday with us having 2/3 lads missing through knocks and work. We should be better placed to compete early doors this summer....allot better then this time last year sending 13 men to Bold!
Fair dos to you men for keeping the game competative and clean despite you getting abit of a thumping towards the end, good luck, see you at your place!

We started slowly and finished badly, came from 4-14 at half time to be leading 20-18 and then conceded twice in the final 5 minutes. Both teams were guilty of some sloppy handling and giving away penalties which I suppose can be expected in the early rounds. We have a lot of improving to do but fair play to Folly they played some really good rugby and scored some nice tries.
Good performance from a very young side! Lots of good things happening down the club got over 50 lads signed on this year! Should be a good game against spring view at there spot.
Tough game that could have gone either way, we simply got the momentum in the last 15 minutes. Credit to Ulverstons forwards who came at us all afternoon.

Hi all Been ages since I've been on here!! Mixed start for us(Latchford) Good pre season with good numbers, strong side for opening game, great first 15 min then it all went wrong!! Credit to Chorley who soaked up early pressure and stuck to their game plan and fully deserved the win Last Sat was our turn to stick to the game plan, nothing exciting against a big leyland side we just moved the ball around to try and tire them out Bold at home this sat should be a good game like both if them were last season Good luck to all teams this season!!
Nearly right! It’s just a mad weekend for us!!!! This weekend we have a local cup final against Bury Broncos plus our coach is the coach of Ireland ‘A’ who also play Fiji UK a team i run with Tabua Cakacaka and the Ireland team are staying in my hotel in Rochdale. Some of our lads play for Fiji UK and one for Ireland....these lads haven’t played for us yet as their waiting for this game.
So as you can see it’s a bit mad and a trip to Ulv with 16 lads on a Saturday then ask the same 16 to play a cup final at 11:30am Sunday with no committee members would be a big ask!
