Eccentric self indulgence, poor taste?

Going to cost billions but be ready by 2016 apparently?

I mean, you wouldn't want to risk a cruise on it, would you?

I can't help but think though that making an exact replica of a poorly designed boat is a tad silly. Why not use it as an inspiration and make a modern vessel instead?

I would go on it. I would be one of the rich and immoral people who would have been first in the queue for the life boats anyway.

Hopefui;ly it will have lookouts to watch for icebergs, bulkheads that go all the way up, a thickened hull and enough lifeboats for everyone else.

I like the idea of making it nostalgic and you dress up as you would in 1910.

Hopefully they will have lots of poor people in steerage so the billionaires and millionaires can look down on without having to mix with them.

Lets hope they change company policy and give them binoculars this time round

Apparently, its first cruise will retrace the route of the original Titanic, though they plan to detour that bit where #1 took a ninety to the bottom, and instead press on to NY.

They say that 40,000 people have already applied for tickets.

There is indeed going to be some sort of faux "Third Class", and toffs will be able to buy tickets to spend part of the journey down there with the hoi polloi.

Where will they get all the riveters they will need, even the Geordie and Jock shipyard riveters will be over 80 these days.

Suprised it's not some American doing it.

I might be interested if he's staying so faithful to the original that he's charging 1910 prices

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
