Let's use a well known sportsman from a totally unrelated sport that people have actually heard of because we have no one playing RL that anyone outside of West Yorks or Lancashire would even know if they fell over them.

Guess they are trying to reach outside the hard core along the M62, and at the moment Sir Bradley is the UK's most popular sportsman - so good on him for getting involved

Who would propose? As you seem to aspire to a part time game, played by in the mud by gutsy locals, how about John Bateman. He'll have the neutrals flocking to their TVs & yocals with flat caps taking their new whippets to a game.
