Been to zouk twice over the holidays and it was exceptional on both occasions. We tried to get into Akbars but it was rammed. It always is and we've never managed to get in on the four occasions we've tried.

Sampled Omar Khans last night and I was impressed with the quality of food. Will probably ask for my curry a little hotter next time though, but really juicy meats in the curry.
I had the tandoori mix starter and the mixed karahi.

If it was between 7-7.30 may have crossed paths. Butter chicken and roti for me, splendid.
Serious question, how does Omar khans compare to the Punjab or international? Off on Saturday and can't decide between top curry or loyalty. Would like to do both

No harm in trying it. I've been twice and it's been nice, but I'm not someone who does the rounds as it were.

Starters in Punjab, mains in Omar's, pay in International.

A group of 14 of us went to Kerala in Shipley a few weeks ago, it is very similar in menu to Prashad. Despite us telling them what time & how many the service was appalling - 2 hours for mains to come, mains brought out then rice following 15 minutes later. Like Prashad it is veggie (as are most of us) but frozen carrots & peas in a curry sauce is hardly authentic south Indian. It has excellent other reviews but perhaps they posted them themselves.
