I believe one supermarket trialed a 'singles night' a while back, so it must be more than my mate who has picked up a bargain (you might even get a two for one !!!)
What, you mean like......bogof!!!?
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
Alternatively, you could take up evening classes in something you're interested in. Flower-arranging would probably give you more choice than brick-laying though!
Do not poop in your own backgarden.
NEVER go out with someone you work with especially youtr boss. I know!!!

There is no shortage of incredibly attractive female doctors / lawyers / management types using this as a way to meet men.
I noticed on the tv ads that all the daters are young, articulate and attractive. I said to the wife 'if I looked like that when I was 21, I wouldn't need to go an a bloody dating site'

Apparently Bananas in the front of the trolley is the sign your single and looking for love !.

Only ever had two long term relationships, first gf I met at college and went out for 4 years and then recent ex was a friend of a friend that introduced us and we went out for 7 years.
Am a bit passed the going out and meeting someone on a night out stage - and to be honest, always thought that wasn't the best way of meeting someone and having a lasting relationship with.
So, now that I'm older ( and possibly wiser ) where the hell do you meet someone that isn't a weirdo, or a pi55head, etc?? Is best to do the friend of a friend thing again, or ask someone out you know thru work, or do the internet dating sites ( but that brings me back to the weirdo point - how do you know?? )??
PS - I know this is the sin bin and will attract some smart ar5e comments, but if you could keep them to a minimum, it would be appreciated
If you're user name is true to life, you really shouldn't have a problem.
