He was on a mission to heal the bunny of it's myxomatosis when he had the misfortune of bumping into the OP.

I know I shouldn't, but I actually laughed out loud at kirkstaller's account when he said that having surprised "Jesus" in his garden, after a few minutes Jesus said well, would you look at the time, I've got to be somewhere else. Kirkstaller turned round and seizing his chance, Jesus quietly did a runner. You couldn't make it up.

Except he quite probably did.

Get stuffed, I'm formulating the Bunny Gospels as we speak. I might change them a bit as I go, and arbitrarily persecute people along the way for no other reason that it shakes my tree, but the thing with Rabbitism is that when you've got a field full of carrots, some are going to get nibbled.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Rabbitism? I just spoke to a Rabbi I know and he says carrots don't enter into it?

Reminds me of the rabbits that escaped from the tobacco animal testing lab. After an afternoon of tasting freedom, they pigged out in a field of carrots and fell asleep. When they awoke, one says to the other, 'What shall we do now"?
His mate replies, 'I think I'm going to go back'. Why? asks his incredulous friend.

"Well, I'm gasping for a fag".

Don't forget folks, rabbitism is already a long-founded religion with its own bible and everything...

The parable of how the rabbits were driven out of their own territory and their trials and tribulations whilst wandering the wilderness looking for a new home, why, it almost reminds you of a different tribe in a different age doesn't it ?

post wrote:IMO and I don't know if anyone agrees with me, Jesus probably did exist minus the miracles, he was probably a nice bloke who did a lot for the poor, sick, helpless and needy but due to Chinese whispers throughout time has been transformed into what he is supposed to have been today.

With all due respect much like a St Nicholas - Father Christmas figure in the sense that he did exist and do good deeds but has been blown all out of proportion by the people who believe.

I'd probably agree with this......You have to remember how long ago the whole Jesus thing was, and how much more 'backward' people were at that time - No TV, no media, just word of mouth....So basically, gossip was the Rupert Murdoch of the day - In the same way that gullible folk are taken in by the Sun and the Mail, so a whole load of people could be taken in by a supposed intellect telling tall tales about a magicman.

At his best, Jesus was just another David Blaine/Derren Brown/Dynamo/etc.....Just imagine a man being able to perform a Dynamo style illusion back in a time when there was no TV, no media, and with it, no modern day cynicism?....With that in mind you can see why he built such a devout following and why such outlandish sounding stories were written about his capabilities - Water to wine, bread and fishes, rising from the dead, they would have been very impressive tricks back in the day (especially the last one!), but, to be honest, they are no more impressive than any illusions or tricks you can see nowadays, yet we don't see anybody proclaiming Derren Brown as the Son of God!!

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Try and cast this repugnant thought from your mind Kirkstaller but I'd reckon Woody and his jezebel will have been flat out over Xmas and the New Year.

I don't have a choice in this.

The Holy Rabbit made that rabbit noise towards me, He was speaking in teeth, and I was overcome.

My destiny became to save TGG's community from the mouth of the Fiery Fox.

Unless The Holy Rabbit decided many carrot harvests ago that he didn't appreciate your cuddles and snuffling of His Divine Fur, in which case, you're knacked.

I'm alright though and I shall suckle at The Promised Upside Down Water Bottle for all eternity.

Won't stop Rabbiting on every thread like a massive gormclops though.
