The number 1, however, is the grand total of participants in one of your polls on Margaret Thatcher.

Embarrassing to keep making things up in this way.

If you are seeing people who aren't there I suggest you visit an optician.

I'll say it again, actually watch the footage. The footage released by Andrew Mitchell. It is clear to see, from the point he stops his bike and is obviously talking to the police, more than one person pass by at that point. Then for some reason there is a gap in the released footage and it switches to another camera pointed at the footgate where we see Mitchell off his bike, with more people passing by outside the gate.

I'd say stop embarrassing yourself after your pathetic attempt to label a 1 man poll as representative of an entire nation but a YouGov poll is somehow biased, the last thing you need is to embarrass yourself further with this ridiculous fawning defence of someone who's already admitted to swearing at police because he couldn't be arsed to get off his bike.

...and when all is said and done, he could have ridden his bike through the side gate, no-one told him to get off and push it.

Yes, I've seen.

There are not several people outside the gate. There is one person outside the gate and two people walking quickly past, closer to the road than the gate.

Another good quote this time from the Telegraph:

"The logbook also states that Mitchell’s behaviour was so offensive that in the view of the officer he had no option but to threaten him with arrest under the Public Order act. Here the CCTV is not conclusive, but look at the tape above. Does the man in the helmet with the bicycle and cycling clips look as if he is subjecting the police to a tirade of such ferocity it merits that threat of arrest?"

The police log has discrepancies which will now hopefully be scrutinised by the 30 officers working on the case.

Its a nice story plant into Ch4 isn't it ?

If he wants to lay this to rest and get his salary back, just release the proper video and audio recordings, just do it, stop fooking about and release the proper evidence because the more this rolls on the, more mud that gets flung at both party's to the argument, the more will stick - if you or anyone else were David Cameron you'd be wanting to put a stop to it right now, no need for enquiries, no need to feed the lawyers, just review the tapes (the proper tapes) and make a statement - end of story.

It was a stitch up so the police federation had ammunition to attack the Govt with as payback for cuts to policing.

But now they have been found out.

'Pleb' - couldn't of fabricated a better word to be honest, as in the opinion of Tory haters like 'Him' and 'Jerry Chicken', he would have definitely used a word like this. Only he didn't, it was lies. If the police had said he used the C word, people just wouldn't have been as inclined to believe it. Very conniving.
