MK are no more a "franchise" than any other club in the top 5 leagues. Tell me which franchised football business you are a paying customer of and then if you like I'll tell you how many times they've changed their colours/crest in the last 20 years - it will be several I guarantee you. And how could a club forced by circumstance to move 60 miles away from Wimbledon reasonably keep the name "Wimbledon" without looking silly? At least they do carry the name of the location in which they play, unlike the manufactured AFC "Wimbledon" entity that you brainwashed "real fans" admire so much for some inexplicable reason... Actually it's not inexplicable at all - you are just mindless numpties who believe anything you are told by agenda'ed media manipulators unquestioningly, that's all.

MK are IN FACT (not that you probably care about those) one of the most open, least franchised and most fan-centric clubs in the entirety of the football league. It is frankly hilarious that fans who are no more than faceless, peripheral revenue stream providers to megalithic, rootless, identityless, mega-global multinational money making corporations in the Premier League could dare to have the brass face to accuse us of being even slightly a "franchise". I gave up on football at the top level a few years back. I'm guessing all these 'real fans' who now watch MK cos they are fed up with the premier league, will stop watching them should they make the top league?

Wigan Athletic. In 20 years (of which I've spent 15 watchig the club) we have changed our crest from the traditional tree and crown to the town coat of arms and back again. Two changes in total. We have never changed our home colours or our name and when we moved grounds we moved less than a mile away.

MK Dons purchased a club, shut it down and moved 60 miles away to another town and county. They then changed their name, crest (changed completely not just updated) AND colours before attempting to claim they won the FA Cup in the late 80's despite being formed in 2004. Not quite the same is it really?

If nobody wanted Wimbledon FC then they should have folded and another club from the lower leagues should have been allowed to be promoted into the football league. A new club should not have been created and just dropt into the football league without earning it.

How did you feel about Crusaders when they moved from Bridgend to Wrexham? If you disagree with any part of what happened there then you can't support MK Dons as the same thing happened but on a far greater and worse scale.

EDIT - And if someone came in now and bought Wigan Athletic before announcing that we were moving to somewhere north of Leeds and being called Yorkshire Athletic whilst playing in green and yellow and having a white rose as a crest then I would spend the rest of my life wanting them to fall flat on their face.
