The only way I can see this being true is if Wests are in the market for Falou, who seems to be in limbo at the moment.
I can imagine Wests wanting to make room under the cap, but not wanting to release one of their prize assets, who may have struggled in his first season but could still come back to haunt them non the less if he goes to another NRL club.
I would also expect at the moment most other NRL clubs do not have enough space to meet Blair's wage demands anyway, given so few seem to be able to close out the Falou deal.
Blair to SL for a season, then a return to the NRL when clubs have a bit more space would be a compromise all round.
Clutching at straws I expect but trying to rationalise it.

Why would a guy who, despite a poor 2012 NRL season, is proven as one of the best forwards in the world have to go through some training sessions with a Super League club to "see if he fits in". If you were signing him, you'd have signed him. He's not the sort of player who needs a trial.

Maybe he is putting us on trial? Checking out accommodation, lifestyle, facilities and coaching etc, it works both ways.
I also understand there have been some major off field issues at Wests in relation to his disruption in the dressing room.
Its not all about ability.

Maybe its all just total balls. The bloke who started the rumour has never said it's Adam Blair and I don't believe that this could be a realistic deal in this day and age.
It'll be some Toyota cup player IMO, if it's anybody at all.

Who ever this AB is , they are here for 2 weeks to see if the move would suite both parties from what I'm being told , I would not expect any " announcement" at the moment .
Tbh I would think we have more chance of Signing Tony Blair than Adam.

Then if we got Tony Blair we could move Sam Tomkins to 6. Teflon Tony in 10 years as PM no one ever caught him and the bodyguards around him would ensure no one ever would.
If he's here for two weeks to see if we like him and he likes us appears to be a trial period. Would we be giving Adam Blair a two week trial to see if he was any good? Backrow Saint replied and suggested Andrew Bentley the French 9 who played for Catalans. I don't know if this was just a suggestion or he's in the know but BS is pretty reliable on the rumours front. Just that Bentley is a Kiwi with the initials AB which is what was posted on the original thread on the other board. He'd provide experienced cover for Mic Mac which come injuries or suspensions would prevent the need to switch the team around with Lockers to 9 like we did the end of last season. Part of our undoing in the Cup and Play offs was losing Tommy and Mic Mac with no experienced cover available. It appears Shaun Wane could be trying to prevent a repetition next year.
could always be someone from the other code. two weeks for us to see if he can hack it in league?

He's a limited coach that won't last long term.
