You know it had to be done.
Second game of the season tomorrow, away at Liverpool JM Fury. We should destroy them, if we play to our capabilities, as they've only actually played 2 games this calendar year due to pitch issues. Will be good to see how our tweaked Defence performs in a game, done pretty well in scrimmages, other than the occasional lapse in outside contain.

Scrappy win for us today, 28-13 in the end. We were 22-0 up at half time, forced 5 turnovers and 2 safeties in the first half against Liverpool, but let them off the hook with really sloppy play in the 2nd half. Though admittedly, we may have been distracted by the Full Back they brought on, who was a female dwarf...

Not sure yet. Depends on my work situation. If I can find a job around Stoke (Probably Alton Towers) i'm going to stay down here and play for Surge, cause I know most of the coaches and the system, plus i'll get more playing time. Otherwise I'll be back at home for the summer playing for Sheffield. Bit of a farce with Gateshead though, there had been rumours that Berkshire were going to pull the same trick, but Gridiron TV confirmed otherwise.
For anyone who's interested (or not), here's the game report on my match yesterday. Beautiful pitch in Liverpool.... Not.

Game yesterday got called off cause of the torrential rain recently, myself and another lad on the committee spent 4 hours on Friday morning trying to get it played somewhere, Sheffield offered a proposal that saw us basically paying 3 or times as much as they would which we simply couldn't afford. We kept the league involved at all stages, but they're whining saying that we cancelled it, so they should be awarded the win!

Sunday was our last game of the season, cause of rearranged fixtures being declared instead of played. Beat MMU 6-0 in a game we should have done a lot better in.
Had what was probably a world first though.
2 players from our team ejected. On the same play. They both had the same name.
One was for "Spearing the ball at an opponent", the other for headbutting.
