OK but sadly, is there an alternative?

Would the employees, had they had their destiny put in their own hands, made better decisions?

Unfortunately none of us possess a crystal ball.

When you flippantly blame a government, not of your choice, on creating a benefits culture, then you must try harder.

It has largely emanated from the Thatcher years of large unemployment, something successive governments of varying colours have failed, miserably, to tackle.

Even your right thinking friends agree at Civitas.

Don't be silly.

I notice you've not picked up on the other poster that's said much the same thing?

When was the last time you bought anything from Comet? I'm not saying you're obliged to shop there, but I'd bet it's a lack of customers that's forced them to take this action, not anything to do with the Government.

I didn't say it was the governments fault, I said they won't give a damn or be prepared to do anything about it other than offer JobCentre+ support which is a given anyway.

I can read very well, thank you.

What do you want the Government to do?

2 and half years and you're still peddling that   Your lot have had 2 and half years to sort out "Labours feckless overspending" without success. Its now time to stop using Labour as an excuse and start seeing that this government is useless.

And as I've told you on the thread on FB that saw you defriend me, wasn't it Thatcher who brought in the "benefit culture", putting people on incapacity benefit when they should have been on the dole actively looking for work???

My printer packed this up this week, I fancied one I had seen in Comet at Kingswood in Hull priced £149.99. I went online found a supplier for £99.99, printed it off, went back to Comet who priced matched it.

They are either pricing to high or selling too cheap, inevitable they have problems.

I also bought my iMac from there last year, just went in and got it off the shelf, no advice sought, but did pay for their engineer to come to mine and set it up and transfer my stuff over from my PC. When he arrived he said 'oh, its a Mac, I don't know much about these and asked if he could use my phone to speak to a colleague, who talked him through the process. Eventually it worked.
