The author of the lead article that day says that he questioned the decision of MacKenzie to use the 'The turth' headline, but MacKenzie does not appear to think that he was solely responsible for that. It woz the cops wot did it. Apparently.

If he was printing what he had been told by the Yorkshire Police then he has every right to want an apology for being fed the lies he was fed and being made to look like a two hat. If he is trying to pass the buck yet again and jump on the bandwagon that the Yorkshire Police were fully to blame etc etc then he is obviously exactly what the LFC fans have branded him.
