good entertainment at the Etihad with the Gooners playing some nice stuff and getting a well earned point IMO
THFC scraped the victory over a pretty poor QPR side, looks like AVB will still be in employment for at least another couple of weeks unfortunately....
Can you honestly see Levy banging him out of the door with a fair while/whack on his contract?
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Be honest, mate, why don't you like him?
I've not seen much of Spurs this year so I'm enthralled as to why you hate a manager who's only been there for a few weeks. It's not like he's Roy Hodgson and it's not like you had Arrigo Sacchi before him, is it?

Your irrational hatred of Hodgson is the questionable one.
His reasons for disliking AVB are clear and reasonable.

it's nowt to do with Levy - if Sherwood & Sir Les give the nod to Joe Lewis then he will be sacked - simple as that !
Levy is just the errand boy
Tottenham's biggest problem is that they truly believe they are a big club and have a God given right to be winning trophies, when in fact they should be happy being a consistant top six side.
Now, I'm no fan of 'Arry Redknapp, but he did manage to bring stability to the club, something that Spurs have never ever had in my lifetime....Unfortunately, the know-nothings in charge of the club allowed themselves to get carried away again and fired him.
Obviously, I'm going to say this as an Evertonian, but the trust and faith put in David Moyes is a great example of how a football club should be run - I read Robbie Savage blathering on about how great Moyes would make Everton if had £40-£50 million to spend, yet, like many, fails to see that the reason for Everton's supposed over-acheivement over the years, is simply through continuity.
I firmly believe the worst thing that could happen to Moyes and Everton would be a huge influx of cash as it would disrupt things so much - A regular input of £5-£10 million per year + any cash from sales is all Moyes, or any decent manager actually needs.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

Roy was a t*sser, vastly inferior to his predecessor and remains the epitome of English football: mediocre, unimaginative, stale, boring, defeatist and hugely one dimensional.

His predecessor deserved to go, as even you acknowledged. He then went to Inter Milan and he sucked far worse than Hodgson did at Liverpool. And that's with your club never wanting Hodgson at all and virtually being against him from the start.
At least now you've got a better manager in, and you're showing how great you can be. Same with Dalgleish. Really shown Hodgson up, haven't they?
The fact that even a generally good Euro campaign was belittled by you shows how irrational you are.
AVB was a massive failure at Chelsea. He's started off dreadfully at Tottenham, but been rescued by the last two games. His interviews are dreadful and embarrassing. He might turn it around, but it's not a surprise that an ex-CFC failure who talks out of his ass and offers poor results has been disliked so far.

Glad he's retired from international games. Wish he'd done it earlier.
The FA are clearly contravening their own rules. By the FA's own rules if a case has been tried in a legal court the verdict should be accepted.
Still, the Terry haters will be pleased. They've got part of what they wanted.
I'm glad but gutted in ways. Glad because it will prolong his career, gutted because I won't get to see him on his ar$e every international break whilst AC3 picks the ball out of the net for him.
