Used to love it at work when it was Wogan followed by Bruce, Evans is mostly ok apart from talking over the last 90 seconds of each song. Unfortunately we're pretty much restricted to Real Radio at work, the DJ's on there are annoying, classing everything as 'amazing', and being totally obsessed with Take That. I remember at the time Oasis split, the 2 afternoon DJ's opened the show proclaining 'Oasis had one or two good songs, nothing more'... then proceeding to tell us how amazing Katy Perry is, and how amazing her music is

You are definatley from the same school of thought as I am. We always have real on at work. It was a good station when it was Century, then they said 'We're changing our name to real radio, everything will be the same as before but just under a different name'. Rollocks, it changed completely, and when they have that "Real Radio Renegade competition", OMG please, somebody shoot me.

The female DJ's are absolutely pathetically in love with anything Robbie/Barlow on Real Radio, it's cringe-worthy. I don't think Real/Century has ever been good since i've heard it the last 6 years, was alright when they had Scotty McClue on late night though I gave up on Radio One when i turned 21, i'd had enough of idiot DJ's who absolutely adored themselves, playing idiot music and acting like idiots, Jo Whiley was a particular culprit of this... now she's on Radio 2 though i find her quite... attractive i saw Radio One for what it was and found Radio 2 thanks to one of the lads at work, for the next 3 years Wogan/Bruce was a staple, popmaster being the best part.

TBH, I've never listened to radio 1, through choice at least, but nothing can be as bad as 1Extra that some of the lads put on at work. All it is is some dj's that no one in the country can relate to (unless you live in certain obscure areas of the capital) talking absolute rubbish about American culture that has no bearing on British life followed up with the same songs played at exactly the same time every day. I'm glad that I'm a driver and can put on whatever station I want and listen to it all by myself.

6music for me. Fantastic range of music.
Tweet from @martinoffiah 23/08/2011: 'Must admit i did love watching Saints- Cunningham Joynt Longy Tommy then Leon, last classic RL team ever'. Even the dark side can't help but love the rebellion.
The best thing to happen to R1 since they binned Jo Whiley. I couldnt stand her in the slightest! Moyles used to aggravate me so much. His 'comedy' was something to behold and his obsession with making new celebrity friends and kiss backsiding so much made me turn off. Grimshaw will be much the same i think, he has lots of good celeb mates but ill give it a go for a few days and see how it goes.
Im partial to abit of the Today show in a morning. people might say its boring but its informative and for someone who works in that field its pretty much essential.
In my uni days i used to listen to 6Music a lot. Turning it on at anytime and hearing a friendly voice who is actually interested in music and developing musical talents and promoting bands is a winner in my ears! Id argue there isnt a bad time of day to tune in.
Vine is great on R2, they seem to get the most idiotic but entertaining people on that show, plus its never a bad time to have a debate about cats and bankers etc etc.
Jeremy Vine show is awful - banal phone ins, and I hate his delivery; he's like Matthew Wright. Urgh.
Pop Master is still brill, but Ken plays some awful music. I like his 'gone for a poo' moment every day; he puts on a really long song and off he trots. You can set your watch by that man's bowels. Like Evans. Preferred Wogan. Miss him not being able to breathe for laughing. Like Mayo. Can't work out why Steve Wright exists at all. Chris Moyles was not my bag, I think Dita summed it up for me pretty well. I am well too old for Radio One and am still annoyed Radio 2 binned Ratcliffe and Maconie for Jo Whiley. She's a bumlicker, always has been.
