.....Those 'comments'!!!....Said in jest, in a light-hearted conversation between Murray, Tim Henman and a journalist, and now a reason for thousands of nobhead Englishmen to display their knuckle dragging tendancies...

Great end to a brilliant summer of sport. So glad that he won one, haters are going to hate but he is the best tennis player Britain have had post war and he would have won something before now if he wasn't up against 3 of the best players of all time. Men's tennis is in a golden era right now and to win a slam in it is a brilliant achievement.

Precisely right. I've heard it through Murray's mouth via an interview on Talksport, the journo asked him "will you be supporting Scotland in the world cup", to which he replied "no i'll be supporting whoever England play harharhar"... Well we all know it doesn't take much for the Engerlund fans to get offended

England fans (and I am one) should be more worried about how poor their team are at the moment, rather than getting upset about what someone else has supposedly said.
As for Murray, I thought, with the exception of the 3rd and 4th set mini slump, when Djokovic was actually playing awesome tennis, it was as good a performance I've seen from him ever. It was a cracking match all the way through and Murray fully deserved the win.

Aye but you know what a large section of them will be like. I don't have a problem with Scotland, well, apart from the Rangers/Celtic bigotry. I quite enjoy the banter etc, one of my foster dads was Scottish, we used to give each other the pelters, but it was hilarious.
