The Hillsbourough files get released today so I guess it's quite an emotional day for most lfc fans. Just had a John ashton on bbc news saying that even after they're released they still feel they won't have the truth? So basically if it's not the fans fault the files are fine and if it is proved it is in the files then there is still a conspiracy ? I don't know enough about it and I'm aware it's a very sensitive issue.

Its highly unlikely that the files will provide the full information they are seeking. Even if there wasn't a conspiracy its just not credible that the police and government will have documented all of the mistakes they made. People just do not do that.
It would be slightly ironic if all this time the files were being held back to stop LFC fans looking stupid. We all know they'll never be pleased anyway.
The one factor that never seems to be mentioned is just how was the official capacity of the Leppings Lane stand determined? Whenever FA Cup Semi Finals were played there it always looked on tv to be grossly over crowded. A mate of mine, a Man Utd fan and Stretford Ender, went to one of their semi finals in the 70's and, at the time, described standing in the Leppings Lane end as the scariest day of his life.

Going to be interesting going off whats been leaked so far.
Also Sheff Weds statement seemed distance themselves from the past.
