Hardly surprising he's booed when the latest proposal is to take 70% of benefits away from the sick if they don't go on work schemes, included unpaid work experience.

It'sa no wonder politicians take this country backwards. Not only are they only interested in the short-term up to the next election but within their short destructive spells in power they reshuffle each year or two. Ministers are appointed to impotant and complex "departments" usually with no relevant knowledge or experience and before they have a hope of getting to know anything about the department they are moved somewhere else to wreak destruction there. It is frankly ludicrous and amateurish.

Don't know what you mean, everyone knows that if someones only job in their entire life is a towel folder at Harrods then they are completely capable and knowledgable to run the economy of Great Britain. Never mind that Balls fella who's actually got a degree in economics - no he'd be rubbish

The previous administration had it's faults, but when they came in in 1997, the new Cabinet had been shadowing for at least 2 years and had a fair idea of what they wanted to do, plus what they couldn't do, and some fairly detailed knowledge of the subject. Unfortunately it didn't last.

Well Lansey's done the damage anyway but how Hunt will handle the department God knows. What came out of the Murdoch affair was a picture of an ineffectual man hanging onto the coat tails of the likes of Osborne running round telling tails.

A sad day for this country when someone of such low calibre can be given this job.

Does CallMeDave actually want to lose the next election by a landslide? The appointments at Health and Justice are farcical.

Clarke becomes Minister without Portfolio while Osborne remains Minister without a fooking clue

Jezza should have stuck with exporting marmalade to Japan.

He was fooking hopeless at that as well.
