Someone ought to tell him that if you make empty threats so often your embarrassing yourself. As has been said earlier if he's gonna quit he should just do it and if not he shouldn't threaten it and not back it up. If I was Chairman at Rochdale I wouldn't be keeping him on for next year regardless of how the season ends. Its disrespectful for him constantly to be announcing he has one foot out the door.

I agree. Rochdale could find themselves in a very uncomfortable position next season (I for one am incredibly relieved that the Dons won't be in next season's Championship One). The last thing they need is a Coach who's head is all over the place and who's heart simply isn't in it.

He'll not relish all that travelling again next season anyway.

This was his excuse apparently..

Anyway on a purely selfish level I hope that Rochdale get promoted.
Because I would sooner go to Rochdale than Whitehaven.
Come on Stanky!

Rochdale are at home to Whitehaven on Sunday ...spooky!
If Dale can deny Whitehaven a bonus point, they go above them and Stanky would be re-energised!

thats a big if though.im expecting haven to return from spotland with 3 points intact.a trip to whitehaven is alot nicer than one to rochdale surely.

It only takes a third of the time to get there though

Two former Doncaster players have put their names forward for the vacant Coaching position at Rochdale Hornets. Current caretaker-Coach Chris Hough and fellow former-Don Graham Holroyd are both reported to fancy the job.

Simon Brown (who it appears is on the verge of signing for York for 2013) has been told that he won't be offered a new contract by Sheffield Eagles.
