Twice we have been told that Blackbrook don't want to play so a new date has been issued when we have asked to move a game we have had to agree it with the opposition first, it does feel like double standards at times!
Hindpool Vs West Bank is off because WB can't raise a side. Luckily we have managed to arrange a friendly against Dalton so the lads will still get a game. Hopefully we can ride it out this year and finish high enough to move up out of this shambles of a league. If there is a few Premier division teams moving to the NCL there could be room for more than 2 teams to go up.
west bank should be thrown out its a joke now feel sorry for hindpool and ulverston teams not travelling up there i cnt wait for the trip out up there ,bamber bridge v ulverston looking forward toit never played them know nothing about them but seem to be flying hope we can get back on track after out last performance

Need to reshuffle by the looks of it, move the worst offenders down to the merit league or division 5? With Golborne and Rylands needing replacing and possible NCL expansion could we see a division 2 having Ulverston, Hindpool, Heysham, Chorley, Leyland and Bamber Bridge in? Which would be good for the Barrow clubs and Heysham but not for some of the more southern end of the division clubs. Beats lots of called off games and the reserve issue needs addressing.
Be interesting to see what Blackbrook do once the winter season starts. They can barely field 2 teams now so how they gonna field 3 for the next 2 months. Note that all 4 of their wins came when they had no 1st team game.

Yea agree with you there but it will ruin div 5 as well. I would say 90% of all the games have been played in div 5 and wudnt want teams like that to spoil it

[quote="LHreds"] I guess the clubs that call off lots of games should have to go merit for that reason but the ones that say only call off the Barrow trips could probably play in division 4/5 where there's no Barrow clubs? Hard one though.
The worst offenders appear to be A teams though. RU won't let them in the main leagues. Though may be too harsh for the likes of Leigh East and Thatto Heath it could be an idea for other clubs if there aren't too big gaps to separate them out.
bamber bridge 26-12 ulverston great reaction from our lads after the wildboar game, played some really good rugby and our defence was solid most of the game 20 nil at ht scored straight after the break and then bombed 4 or 5 chances and held up over line 3 times score line was abit closer than it should of been,in the end i think we were 2 big for a very young ulverston team who battled all the way through the game, and never stop coming good game of rugby and looking forward to our trip up there, very good bunch of lads 7,10,1 and the winger were very good for them
just been looking at our games the league have done us no favour going hindpool 1 week then week after ulverston but never mind we will be going i think i saw 9 24 -nil in all the leagues shocking how can teams not love playing in the sun lol
