just a shame that incident will now be the talking point after the gamethat vhanged the game imo
Either way, it was an awful call.
When the knock-on occured there was 2 points in it. Wire now lead by 18.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

I don't think I've ever defended Bailey and I certainly won't make a habit of it but he seemed committed to me. The tackle was completed a split second before Bailey makes contact.
Ryan Atkins, on the other hand, put in a proper cheap shot when he hit an opponent from the back who had just released the ball. Very bad hit which the referee excused as "fractionally late".
Consistency anyone?

Not a bad crowd given all of the talk of poor ticket sales.
Hopefully when the initial 10 year Club Wembley tickets end (should be in 2017?) the CC Final will be removed from the events list, and the RFL/Clubs get the tickets to sell themselves.

Thought Warrington played some great stuff and were deserved winners, the game did change after 1 or 2 poor calls but Warrington were headd and shoulders the better team an deserved to win fair play to them

But in the case of today, the RFL / Leeds / Warrington couldn't shift the rest of the tickets, so the few club Wembley attendees actually boosted the overall success of the final...
