Sad indeed - one of sport's greatest commentators. The sport will never find a greater advocate than Sid

Indeed. He loved his darts and respected the skill of the people involved. I remember him appearing on The Big Breakfast with Phil Taylor, and he was happy to stick out his tongue, put a 50p piece on it, and let Phil try to hit the coin (which Taylor naturally did).

Rip.

Although I didn't like his commentary. His passion for the game was there for all to see.

Seem's a dying art unfortunately, special effects, with advent of CGI.

Master's of the art such as Rob Bottin, Tom Savini, Rick Baker and the late great Stan Winston could well be the last of a great movie tradition.
