NEW PLAYERS WANTED

Leyland Warriors are looking to recruit more players at Open Age level. As some of our results show from earlier this season, we have some quality lads on board but just need more numbers.

Long story short, due to a combination of several players travelling on gap years, emigrating, working weekends, long term injuries and so on, we are struggling for numbers. Very frustrating, especially given as all of our junior teams are flourishing in the change of season.

I wasn't there 2day but I've been told it was really good team performance from a very young ulverston side.

Average age would of been 20 odd then uses brought it up to you old gets how did it go mate? Enjoy it?

Had a cracking time. Was good to be fit again and not blowing out of my ar*e

Hopefully I'll get another couple of chances during the season. If not then I look forward to playing a few for the A team in winter.

wildboars 40 v bamber bridge 28 worse performance of the season for us didnt play well and didnt make wildboars work at all to much dropped ball and too many pens made lots of easy yards we battled to the end but a very poor performance from us,credit wildboars they played well and deserved the win,hope the lad who got carried of at end of the game is ok

Ulv got the points because Cadishead rhinos didn't turn up we wernt surprised either it's been a terrible league For sides turning up hopfully it sorts it self out soon!!!

We have got 6 home games and 1 away game left to play. I would only expect to play 2 possibly 3 of the home games.

Think you will only get two teams tops that come and play you if your lucky!
