Totally agree.
Three champions at that stadium tonight, all of whom have had to overcome incredible personal hurdles to achieve on the night. Fabulous to watch it all and I'm so jealous of the people who were in that venue to witness it first hand. Amazing stuff.
Emotional, too. I had to fight to hold it together at certain points. Frequent trips to the fridge, bathroom etc were needed!
Christianity: because you're so awful you made God kill himself.
Inverdale actually showed some emotion when the rowing lads came second and he was interviewing them, good job it cut away i thought he was going to cry.

True. I actually liked him when he patted that poor lad on the shoulder and told him 'You've let no one down.'

Ha! Reet div me, one too many celebratory toasts!
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
