yes, because you could have done better?
the American girl was amazing (I wonder if the Chinese coach will accuse her of doping), Addlington has done incredibly well in her career, remember, anyone even n a final is one of the BEST 8 in THE WORLD at the time.
what's your biggest achievement, and how much sacrifice did it require?
Felt sorry for Adlington, who suffered from the usual British media treatment of building the expectation on her to an unrealistic level....Yes, she had a good chance going into the race, but if you believed the hype, she was an odds on favourite, which was never the case.
On the subject of somebody who suffers from over expectation from our media, I was glad to see Andy Murray show some grit in his match with Djokovic - For all his detractors, Murray is a top player, and it would be great if he could beat Federer on Sunday and perhaps shut some of his know-nothing critics up....Considering he often gets slagged off for his supposed surlyness, it was good to see Murray show some passion and get the crowd in a similar state.
And so you aim towards the sky, And you'll rise high today, Fly away, Far away, Far from pain....

In the world of a halfwhit that has achieved the adulation of passing their driving test.
Amazing how the usual negative f'whits have disappeared now we're getting LOTS of medals, Sin Bin, the home of jealous people who hate success and want us all to pay for the sink at the shallow end.
No doubt the idiots will lock this (or say it belongs in other sports), but what a day to be British, incredible Olympics so far, and 7 more days to go!!

Not locked ... not moved to 'other sports' ...
Because we already have a thread where the Olympics are being discussed.
bless, people who have achieved nothing bemoaning the success of others, typical of Sin Bin, "it's someone else's fault" (anakin will be along soon to say he should be gifted a job that is convenient)
