The other side of that coin is that after a month with Turner he may say Fook that and want to sign for FC rather than play a full next season next to turner

Do you guy's think he will be paired with Turner?

Yeah, he'll be on the right wing outside of Turner.

When Sharp got injured we opted to move Ben Crooks (usually a left centre) out to the right wing, so I imagine that we'll do the same with Foster. We don't seem to want to break up the Yeaman/Briscoe partnership on the left.

A god bit of business by the club. We need a winger and he fits the bill, young but has experience, quick, a good finisher and the added bonus of being a top kicker.

Seems to have been treated harshly this season by Saints after a couple of poor displays.

Quick compared to what exactly? ;) He has a bit of pace but calling him "quick" would be overdoing it a little.

And to put the record straight, he was hardly turfed out after just a couple of howlers - his defence had been steadily deteriorating for an entire year and was costing us on average at least a try a game towards the end of last season. He very nearly cost us getting to the GF altogether a few times against the Pies... All that happened in the first part of this season was that that downward spiral continued and there was no option left but to relieve him of further duties once his contribution started regularly approaching the minus 12-15 points a game mark.

There's still a chance he could make a top SL player in the current talent-free climate anyway if he sorts his head out and gets back the rock-like solidity he started out with in his first year. I'm hoping some SL games will do him the power of good and get him back on track.

Having not played for Saints since March despite not having been injured, Foster has obviously seriously upset someone at the St Helens club, and being sent to hapless Hull FC for a month is surely the ultimate punishment.

Hope you're playing this at home.

Good player but is poor in defence.
