As I've mentioned a few times, we had Crocker on the books and registered with the RFL and he never got his visa. As long as he didn't actually play for us until his visa was secured I think we could sign him up and register him with the RFL before the deadline.

Yes I believe chase will pull on the black and white this season,we're doing everthing we can for that to be as early as monday. People need to realise that even IF he doesn't play for us this season he WILL be here next season,everything is agreed. Its just the matter of time it takes to sort the visa out as to when he makes his debut

How come signing players is always so complicated in Rugby? Whereas it sometimes takes few hours to sign any player in the world in football.

Also, thinking about it, are we essentially test-driving one of Saints' centre/wing combinations for them now? Can see Turner & Foster being a defensive nightmare, might worry Saints if so.
