Seymour's defence was very good at the start of this season. It has not been to the same standard recently pretty much in line with most other players.

I agree, and I'd also add that he defends on the right, which means that early in the season he was defending out there with Martin, whereas now he's out there with Turner (or at times the empty space where Turner should be).
