You are aware that money is coming from selling the land the club own, right? Selling players wouldn't do anything in regards to the stadium, now you're just trying to think of reasons as to why Cas want to sell players, when they don't.

As well as being in the future plans of the club, bringing him in early makes sense - as does shipping out McGoldrick who had no future at the club.
The club are building a squad that will have Chase & Clark at the heart of it next season and will be in & around the top 8.
