Any one know anything about the new curry place opposite Richard Dunn's?

Hard to tell from the outside whether its going to be good value for money or just a bit of a rip off...

They are going to offer cheap season tickets, eat all you want once a day for a year @ £75. £125 if you want a seat.

Thought it was 60 quid and eat as much as you want all year.

Totally unsustainable.

First trip to Bradford for years yesterday (and in the off season, too).

Of course, there was nowhere else to go except for Omar Khan's. Straight in at 5pm. The big man was only there fleetingly, but it was good to see Sutcliffe pop in for a pint.

We had the banquet for four. Delicious, although not the Bradford curry experience I remember from my younger days in the city (cutlery, rice, tch).

Boxing Day at the Coral Stand. Meal provided by OK; £14.95 per person
Arrived 2:15 to a buffet that we learned was originally put out 12:30, though this was not said on booking the tickets.
Starters only of meat & veg samosas & pakoras which were all somewhat dried up and cool.
No kebab of any type
Good salads table including coriander leaves which I love.
3 decent mains of lamb, chicken & lentil with a tasty rice, but again all a little dried-up
Naans were cold - but put through a microwave when we asked.
All the plates were cold and the staff did not seem to understand they should be hot.
Sweets were a decent range of traditional cold offerings.

Overall disappointed as expected OK to be setting his standards much higher than this.

Went to the 1875 Restaurant above Menston train station last night. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

I had the Paneer for starters and followed it up with the Goan Soor Masala. Potentially the best curry I've had all year. Highly recommended.

Went to the International for a pre-christmas curry. The Karahi Mutter Paneer was exceptional, very sarcastic waiter but I think that added to the ambience.
