I saw those rumours, hopefully they are false it is a bit strange Cas suspending him as it would reduce any fee they could get for him. Unless they want to stop him getting injured.
Too be honest it would not surprise me if Pearson has ordered a press release to go out immediately in an attempt to try ease concerns about the squad which for me were only raised after seeing us at Leeds on Friday. It could have just been a rushed job and no thought put into the implications of the headline. People are whipped up in a frenzy now but to be it just looks like the club are desperate to appease fans. I thought the days of spin at FC had gone but I was wrong. A statement that basically confirms nothing.
