Yeah. Pearson listens to the fans, or did you think Agar is still here

Not calling you a liar but I mentioned it was happening nearly 2 weeks ago ago , so unless Moa and tickle have been playing with injuries that's nonsense . Personally I'm not to downbeat when he signs like others , just can't afford many more signings like him . Ones ok start getting 2/3 and we could be in bother .

On BBCSport it quotes Gentle as saying that McGoldrick is only signing until the end of the season
if he is only here for that long then I could cope with that. But next year I want us to be a side challenging for the top4, no excuses and no more 'wait til next year' statements.

I know we've been talking to him for weeks , mainly for next season . Wouldn't be surprised if the club knowing the fans view on this have come out and said its short term when knowing full well it's for next season as well .

He told us a few weeks ago he had a clause in his contract,we have NOT been talking to him for weeks about next year,as of mid afternoon we haven't even offered him a deal for this year yet!!I believe he will sign, but it will only be for this year
Well I was told different but if it's only for this year , why not just stay at Cas from his point of view . Ok we need a full back / stand of when we lose Russell but why come for 10 or so games . Think he"ll play stand of and leave Horne at full back this season .

Why would he walk away from a sizeable contract with cas without good reason? Why would he bother moving clubs for 9 games when he'd been at cas for 7 years. he's signing, we all know it. The club will pretend it is for this season only but he'll be here next season.
Only other explaination is he fancies a trip over to france to stock up his shed with booze and fags

Whiting?
Plus McGoldrick can play pretty much any of the backs and in the back row. Maybe Gentle just wanting another Whiting type player to see us through the season, who can do a job at more then one position? And no, am I in no way comparing his ability to that of Whiting's.
Russell may be recalled, so he can then go FB and Horne in halves? I'm just trying to find an answer here!

Meanwhile, boss Peter Gentle confirmed he is interested in signing Castleford utility back Ryan McGoldrick.
He told BBC Radio Humberside: "I coached Ryan a long time ago back in Australia and I had a good relationship with him.
"It'd be a short-term deal until the end of the season and a chance for him to put himself in the shop window."
Explaining his decision to leave the Tigers, McGoldrick says a chance to extend his stay in Super League was one he couldn't afford to miss and prompted his decision to ask to leave early.
He said: "Castleford has been a major part of my life for the last seven years and a main part of my playing career.
"An opportunity has arisen which may help me continue my Super League career into the future and I have chosen to take it.
Seems clear both parties accept its a short term deal, the only reason to extend it would be if he earns an extra year by playing well
