Is he really better than Jamie Ellis? At least Ellis had potential. McGoldrick will only get worse, and he's not exactly starting strong either.
This is more disappointing than the Stuart Reardon signing the day after announcing a domestic violence campaign. Not the sort of signing this club have been singing about.
More diverse, can cover more positions and has more experience than Ellis, as long as he's come to be a squad player it's an upgrade on what we had.
