I imagine the deal was either done or near to completion when Pearson spoke last week, so I think he will either be one of the six or the halfback that was close to completion.
I just can't for the life of me understand the logic in signing Ryan McGoldrick.
He'll be one of the oldest players at the club, yet offer no real deal of experience having only represented USA. He's been an awful player for at least 3 years at Cas, a player they're desperate to get rid of, and a really bad influence on the pitch. On top of this, he's a quota player. Is he really better than Jamie Ellis? At least Ellis had potential. McGoldrick will only get worse, and he's not exactly starting strong either.
This is more disappointing than the Stuart Reardon signing the day after announcing a domestic violence campaign. Not the sort of signing this club have been singing about.
